On the contrary, my observation is that most experts agree that it's not very controversial that a Jesus of Nazareth really lived.

If you're wondering why cautious reference texts like Encyclopedia Britannica assert that Jesus was historical, check out the bibliography of their article about him. And if you're wondering why Britannica asserts that the world is not flat, check out the bibliography of their article about Earth. :-)

I don't have time to defend propositions like "the Earth is not flat" or "Jesus was historical", so I leave it to others. If you think you can overturn the peer-reviewed scholarly consensus on either of these two propositions, then good luck, and let me know when you're finished. :-)
