You

Friend, I was an atheist for 37 years. I

graced this planet.
Interesting. Can you point me to any specific text you
wrote (or even read) at the time that would give an indication
of how familiar you were with the arguments for and
against Christian theism? If so, you might be a candidate for my investigation
as to whether atheists having long-term experience with both sides' arguments
ever later convert to Christianity purely because of comparing those
arguments.
Boy was I blind. You remind me of myself
19 years ago. Arrogant, vain, conceited and quite stupid thinking I saw while
actually being blind.
Whereas now that you are finally "fair", you routinely
charge me with "arrogance" but decline my every request for you to substantiate
your charge. And now that you are finally "open-minded", you send me a
steady stream of platitudes and cliches, but make no response whatsoever to my
arguments that
-
-
the "tree
of knowledge of good and evil" myth is
evidence of the insecurity of your god(s);
-
Christianity involves more
kinds of pride than atheism; and
-
that you mistake
my confident and successful defense of my worldview as
arrogance.
Feel
free to continue your unsubstantiated attacks on my character; they only confirm
the unreasonableness and unhealthiness of your worldview.
