Yes, Rand was a very significant liberterian atheist. I haven't read her very much at all, for two reasons. First, she seemed to have very firm beliefs about epistemology which as far as I can tell aren't taken seriously by academic philosophers. Second, Objectivists on the Internet are uniformly unimpressive in expounding and defending her views.

Yes, atheists tend to be leftists, but a lot of libertarians are atheists -- which tells you that there are a lot more leftists than libertarians.
