He literally has NOTHING to back up his claims because his position is untenable. There is no valid libertarian position in support of the war in Iraq. Nothing short of Iraq dropping a bomb on L.A. or sinking the U.S.S. Kennedy is a valid reason to use the military against them and any use of the military other than that to respond to or defend against a direct, intentional, and immediately impending attack is an unconstitutional one. Iraq never posed even a slight threat to America. Never attacked America. Never funded attacks against America. Never planned attacks against America. Never helped anyone else attack America. Never harbored, trained, or otherwise assisted anyone who attacked America, and had absolutely no connection (other than a mutual hatred) to those who did attack America. Iraq had as much to do with the 9/11/2001 attacks as England did. At no point during the entire recorded history of the planet earth was Iraq a danger to America or did it participate in anything that warranted an invasion by America. This includes the invasion of Kuwait. I've proven it time and time again, and all he does is bring up bogus claims that someone in Al Queda once met someone who happened to work for the Iraqi government, which is of course no connection as this could even be a relative. He has nothing and I've got everything, and somehow you get from this that he was winning the argument? I think you've let your personal feelings get in the way of logic....something Mr. Holtz has yet to display. --- In LPCalPeace@yahoogroups.com, "Allen Rice" wrote: > > Paul, > > Sorry, I read the arguments for a while, until the exchange began to > bore me, and I gotta say that Brian has the best of you, by an order > of magnitude.
